JOYTOY WH40K Sons of Horus Warmaster Horus Primarch of the XVIth Legion
Product Description
Joy Toy brings the Sons of Horus to life with this Warhammer 1/18 scale action figure! Renouncing the Emperor and their oaths, the Sons of Horus have been transformed into a bludgeoning iron fist in their Primarch's quest for domination and power. Fanatic to their cause, these traitor Brothers spread their corruption and heresy across the Imperium as they bleed the loyalist Space Marine legions dry. They will stop at nothing to see their Primarch strike down the false Emperor and gain his throne as the ruler of Mankind.
Rumored to be the clone-progeny of his Warmaster Horus, Abaddon's tactical brilliance in battle has granted him the title of First Captain and the favorite of Horus himself. The overall paint job is beautiful, and it stands easily. The claws on the hands look very cool, especially when equipped with weapons. Adding various decorations really makes it look awesome.
Horus is truly tall, robust, and handsome, with a wide range of motion thanks to the replaced joints. The material is indeed smoother than POM, and the claws aren't flimsy. It's just a pity that the head's mobility is quite limited by the tubes.
This Horus is indeed something else, really stylish. No matter the pose, it's got that full-on imposing vibe.
Overall Review: The paint job is passable but doesn't hold up to close inspection. The figure stands steadily on flat ground without issues. The articulation is average, but it's not a big problem for a primarch figure that's mostly for display. The design of the movable claws on the hands is nicely done. There's a bit of a strong smell, but overall, the quality has improved a lot. There's still room for further improvement bit by bit.
